The holidays are over, but many of us are still struggling for cash after paying off our credit card debt because of them. Like many people, you might find yourself strapped for cash and looking for easy ways to make money but are not sure where to go or what is legit.
Many of us turn to the internet in order to find the easiest and fastest ways to make a quick buck, but there are tons of scams that you have to look out for. It is easy to get duped, especially if you are desperate. That is why I am going to give you some of the best ways to make quick cash that are totally legit.
Drive Uber or Lyft
Uber and Lyft are rideshare apps where you use your own vehicle as a taxi, basically. If you have a decent car and time on your hands, you can always hop on the rideshare bandwagon. Even if you work a full-time job, you can always find a way to make a few bucks by driving in your downtime. Even if you do not have a car, I know that Uber has a rental program where you can rent a car to make some money. There are plenty of drivers for both apps that use this as their full-time job, so there is tons of money to be made.
Do you have a ton of extra stuff that you do not use? Do you plan on having a yard sale, but the weather is not quite right for it? Need money now? Take photos of those items and load them up on apps like LetGo and OfferUp. After you post these items, you can set up a safe spot to meet your buyers and get some quick cash. Personally, I use this all of the time. You can sell just about anything on these apps and can even check out your potential buyer’s profiles to make sure it is safe to meet with them.
Additionally, you can also use the Facebook Marketplace, but I find that you will find too many hagglers, which only leads to frustration. I am not saying there are no hagglers on the apps I mentioned either, but there seems to be a lot more using marketplace.
Just like apps like LetGo and OfferuP, there are websites where you can sell your items online and ship them out to the buyers. Sites like eBay and Mercari are two that are most widely used by the everyday person in order to make some easy money while getting rid of those things you no longer use. You can offer free shipping to make your listings more appealing or add in shipping costs if money is really tight on your end.
Be An Amazon Affiliate
This is something that you can really do and make some cash if you are active on social media and have a decent sized following. As a blogger, I use this method, but I make more just from posting to my Facebook wall. You can sign up to be an Amazon Affiliate and post links to products that you think your fans or friends would be interested in buying. When they make a purchase using your link, you make a percentage off the sale. Think about using this method during holiday seasons, especially Cyber Monday. Your friends will thank you for hunting down the best deals for them, and you make some quick money. It is a win/win for everybody.
Sell or Get A Collateral Loan From Your Jewelry with Chapes-JPL
Do you have a stash of jewelry that you do not wear but is worth a pretty penny? Why not sell it or even get a collateral loan for it to get you through your rough times? Chapes-JPL in Atlanta is the nation’s premiere jewelry lender. This company offers 30-day loans that can easily be extended to fit your needs. Also, they have loan rates as low as 2.5% which surely beats those high rates you will find with title pawns that many turn to in desperate times. AND…there are NO credit checks! Plus, you have the option to just outright sell your unused jewelry, so you do not have to worry about a loan at all. You really cannot beat that.
So, there you have it, folks. These are my go-to ways to make a few bucks in between paychecks. I hope these methods are helpful to you. Be sure to share this post. You never know who might be in need. Also, leave a comment below and let me know if you have any easy-cash methods you would like to share or if any of my methods have worked for you.
